The Incredibles
The Incredibles was a great movie. I have seen it in the past before but seeing it again reminded me of how good the movie was. One of the important scenes that I thought was most important was when Mrs. Incredible, Dash, and Violet were in a cave-like area towards the end of the movie and Mrs. Incredible had to leave them to go help Mr. Incredible. She told both Dash and Violet what the most valuable possession was and it was their masks because their identity is the most valuable thing to them. I think this is very important because like most super hero movies, super heroes want to keep their identity unknown in order to protect themselves and their love ones. It also makes their lives easier and they can keep normal like other people in public. For example, the kids go to school and if they were to use their powers, everybody will know who they are. Not only does the mask protect their love ones but also protect who they are. For example, if people were to know who Spiderman or Superman was, their loves one would be in danger which also put themselves in danger too. Spiderman's grandma and girlfriend and Superman's girlfriend will face dangers throughout their lives if villains find out that Spiderman is Peter Parker and Superman is Clark. Identity also dictates what they have to do. This scene also showed that Mrs. Incredible trusted Violet to be in charge over Dash, which made Dash mad. This showed that Violet is more fit in charge and more mature than Dash. Overall, this scene plays a very important role in this movie. It helps the viewer or audience know how important the masks or more specifically the identity of super heroes. And if their identity are known what possible consequences can occur according to previous super hero movies I have seen.

Moua, I love watching this heart-warming scene. It does show how important their identity is and who they are should be kept a secret for the sake of their loved ones. This superhero movie portrays the same theme as every superhero out there. Their powers are important to them, but the most important thing is their loved ones.
