NBA All-Star Weekend Winners and Losers

In this Writer's Choice blog post I decided to write about the article "NBA All-Star Weekend Winners and Losers... by Jason Concepcion.  In this article he talks about how the All-Star weekend went and who shined and who did not.

To start things off, I love reading sports articles, that is why I chose this article.  Most of the points the author makes I totally agree on.  The winners of the NBA All-Star Weekend was definitely Russell Westbrook and Zach Lavine.  Westbrook obviously named MVP as he broke the All-Star game record of most points scored in a half.  Westbrook scored 27 and he came of the bench as Stephen Curry was the starter!  Westbrook definitely one of my favorite point guards to watch.  And Zach Lavine literally just brought back the slam dunk contest to life with his performance.  Of course he won the slam dunk contest but he also did it in a way that reminds us as fans of when Vince Carter was in the slam dunk contest back in the early 2000s.  If you have not seen it his amazing dunks you need to go see!

One thing that I disagree with the author was that Kevin Hart should have been a winner!  Jason Concepcion stated Kevin Hart as a loser in the All-Star Weekend.  I think he should have been a winner because for one he was MVP in the Celebrity All-Star game four times in a row now.  He also put up numbers and would have been a perfect night for him despite getting pretty much destroyed by Mo'ne Davis.  Otherwise he is a winner in my eyes and also he is a very good comedian.

Overall, good article to read!  Loved it and it was really enjoyable watching All-Star Weekend last weekend.  Jason Concepcion did a good job writing this and totally agree with him except for Kevin Hart.  Can't go wrong with Kevin Hart on your team.
